Concord Energy Acquires Water Asset

Denver, CO: Concord Energy is pleased to announce the acquisition of a coalbed methane (CBM) water asset in the Powder River Basin. The transaction closed on December 14, 2017. The water system includes a pipeline and pump stations capable of transporting 400,000 barrels a day over 60 miles in Wyoming, allowing Concord to provide water services to oil and gas operators and communities in the area. Concord will work with oil and gas operators to ensure the pipeline is used to reduce the environmental impact on the Powder River Basin’s natural resources.
